Don't miss this important AICC member roundtable with the
Chair of Energy Queensland, Sarah Zeljko and Chief Executive Peter
Scott who will share the learning from recent extreme weather events and
how Energy Queensland is building capability and resilience to guaranteed
supply.
As Australia's largest, government-owned electricity company with over 2.3 million customers, Energy Queensland is vital to ensuring guaranteed supply and security of power to business and households across the state.
Through its subsidiaries Energex and Ergon Energy Network,
managing the electricity distribution networks, and Ergon Energy Retail and
Yurika, providers of retail and integrated energy solutions, how Energy
Queensland faces the climate change risks of extreme weather disruption is
critical to future energy generation, distribution, and customer demands. The
need to decarbonise the energy sector and transition to renewable energy
sources presents further challenges and opportunities.
